Welcome from BLMBAO Presidents
Greetings, Duke MBA Class of 2015!
Welcome to the Fuqua Family! On behalf of the Black and Latino MBA Organization (BLMBAO) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, we would like to congratulate you on your admission to Fuqua. We understand that the business school application process can be long and arduous, so now is definitely a time to celebrate your success. You deserve it!
As BLMBAO Co-Presidents for the 2013-2014 school year, we hope that as you weigh your options in this very important decision, you consider the unique aspects of the Fuqua experience and know that BLMBAO is one of them. Some of our goals for next year include academic review sessions, preparation for the diversity conferences, professional development, strengthening social bonds by hosting social events such as potlucks and game nights, and volunteer work to benefit the local community.
Again, welcome! We cannot wait to meet you and bring you into the BLMBAO Family at Fuqua. We look forward to seeing many of you at Blue Devil Weekend and hope to see each of you in the fall. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help in the meantime.
Best regards,
Marco Ramos & LaKeshia Richardson
